You Got a Sixth Sense
No, It’s Not Seeing Ghosts While You’re Taking a Crap
You know that feeling when you're talking to someone, and something just feels off about them?
That nagging feeling that something is wrong with the person you're interacting with.
Maybe it’s someone at the gym.
Maybe it’s someone at your school.
Maybe it’s your boss.
Well, let me assure you—your feelings are correct. That’s your sixth sense screaming at you that the person is a bad egg.
Let’s dive a little deeper into this sixth sense.
Don’t worry—I’ll tie this into fitness by the end.
In all three of those places and with the people I mentioned, I’ve experienced this feeling, whether it was with one person or a few.
For now, let’s talk about my former boss.
The very first day I worked there, I got this gut feeling that something was off. This guy was way too nice to me—so nice, it felt unnatural.
Not just that, but the way he walked, the way he talked to others, his whole vibe—it was just… off.
Suffice it to say, I didn’t trust this guy in the slightest.
And guess what? I was right.
I won’t get into the nuts and bolts of the whole story, but basically, this software company made its money by scamming people.
It was disgusting beyond belief. I’d love to go into more detail about this story, but I don’t think it’s the right time to unveil it just yet.
What I want to say here is this: always follow your gut feeling, or what I call your sixth sense.
Every time you feel like you need to avoid something, just avoid it.
We humans have a natural instinct to avoid danger. People reveal their true nature, not with their words but through their subtle body language.
But this gut feeling doesn’t just warn us of danger—it also drives us toward what we should be doing.
If your gut says, “This is what you have to do; this is your purpose,” then go after it.
You don’t want to end up old and decrepit, thinking, What if?
If your gut tells you that you need to lose weight and get fit, don’t let anyone convince you it’s okay to stay the way you are.
Don’t let them say, “It’s okay; you should be happy with who you are.”
If your gut is telling you, Nah, man, this is not okay, then it’s not okay.
The question is: Do you follow your sixth sense, or do you follow what others tell you to do?
That’s it for this email.
Hope you liked it and that you had an awesome weekend.
Let’s crush it next week!
Kind Regards,
