Why 99% of People See No Gains (Even After Years in the Gym)
You can go to the gym 5 days a week for years and still see no progress.
I’ve seen people go to the gym for years, and they still look the same as when they started.
And to be honest, I give them mad props for sticking with it for so long without losing motivation.
That is what I call dedication. But let’s be real—it must not feel good to hit the gym consistently and still see little to no progress.
So let’s break it down in this email: Why is this happening? And what can you do to prevent or fix this problem?
Number 1: Your Form is Subpar.
This is the biggest reason of them all. People don’t make progress because they perform exercises in the worst way possible.
There are tons of mistakes people make when lifting. The biggest one? Half reps.
With half reps, you’re not getting 50% of the gains—you’re getting way less because most of the gains come from the other half of the rep.
A key sign to look out for: If you don’t feel the muscle working properly, you’re probably performing the exercise incorrectly.
Number 2: You Don’t Have a Workout Plan.
Look, if you’re just jumping from one machine to another with no structure, you’re shooting in the dark.
Plus, you’ll feel and look lost in the gym, which is a surefire way to lose motivation and discipline.
A workout plan gives you structure, so you have a clear roadmap to your destination.
You wouldn’t start walking to a new place without checking Google Maps first, right? So why would you train without a plan?
If you need a roadmap that I’ve tested for years, check out my PDF

Number 3: Consistency.
Yep, we’re going there, my friend.
The first two are vital, but consistency is even more important.
Yeah, maybe your form isn’t perfect at the beginning.
Yeah, maybe you don’t have the best workout plan yet (so get my PDF 😀).
But if you stay consistent, you’ll fine-tune your form and plan over time. That’s how you get amazing results.
One of my favorite techniques to stay consistent? Vision and visualization.
Picture how you want to look—yes, even if it sounds vain—and visualize it.
That vision will pull you through the tough times when motivation is low.
Those are the three biggest reasons why you might not be making progress in the gym.
If you tackle them, I guarantee you’ll see results beyond what you imagined.
That’s it for this email!
Kind Regards,
Coach Loc
