The Illusion 99% of People Live In
Welcome to the Age of the Internet
Nowadays, 99% of people live in a world of massive illusion.
Although we objectively see the same things throughout our day, we interpret them differently.
Sounds very hippie-like and spiritual, but hear me out.
We can all agree that 99% of the population uses social media and spends at least a few hours on it daily.
That’s a fact.
Now, let’s paint a picture of the average man using social media.
What’s most popular online nowadays?
Looks. Money. Status.
Hustle culture.
Grind and make money.
Whether you admit it or not, what you see online programs your subconscious.
So, by default, this average guy puts money on a pedestal. Every time he sees someone displaying wealth, he automatically places them above himself.
Let’s be honest—most guys do this for validation from women, whether they realize it or not.
This person might start a business he doesn’t even like—something like dropshipping. He convinces himself he’s doing it for freedom, to take care of his parents.
And while that’s not a complete lie, it’s also not the full truth. His actions are driven by the subconscious belief that making money will make him attractive and valuable.
Now, chances are, he won’t even make the money. But let’s say, hypothetically, he does find financial success.
His entire identity and confidence are tied to something external. Women won’t be attracted to him, but rather to what he has.
This is the illusion 99% of men fall into.
Do you know what actually builds confidence?
Working on the intangible stuff. The internal stuff.
Mastering your energy, your happiness, your detachment from external validation, and being truly authentic to yourself.
Funny enough, working on your physique also builds internal strength—because of the sheer willpower required and the confrontation with your bad habits.
Beyond that, I also recommend working on your charisma alongside your fitness.
