I think bodybuilding is gay.
Yep, I have said it, yep I'm a little bit of an hypocrite.
I’ve always been the kind of person who keeps to myself and avoids showing off.
The reason for that is simple: I was bullied heavily during my early years (from 5 to 15 years old). Because of that, I preferred to be invisible rather than asking for attention.
Well, that changed 15 years later, haha.
Although I still don’t like showing off or flexing in front of the camera, it’s a necessary evil to help me run my coaching business.
But that’s beside the point.
A while back, one of my friends asked me why I don’t compete in bodybuilding competitions.
I considered it for a moment, but something about it just didn’t sit well with me.
At first, I couldn’t figure out why. On the surface, it seemed like the logical next step. But it didn’t align with who I am or my personality.
Now I think I’ve figured it out.
Why?
Because I think bodybuilding is a little… gay, haha.
Now, let me be clear: there’s nothing wrong with being gay. And with “gay,” I mean that it feels a little feminine.
Again, nothing wrong with being feminine—unless it goes against your personality.
And for me, it does.
But here’s the thing: it seems like I’m the only one who sees it this way because everybody in the gym seems to aspire to be a bodybuilder.
The God’s honest truth? I don’t.
I just like to look cool and look like Goku—nothing groundbreaking, to be honest.
Superficial? Sure.
There are spiritual reasons why I work out, but I won’t go into detail here.
I think people should really ask themselves if they want to be judged by other men based on how big their biceps are.
Being ranked on their appearance.
In my mind, it’s basically a beauty contest.
I could be wrong here.
But this also creates a very bad relationship with your mental health. Everything is a habit, and if you make it a habit to rely on external validation for happiness…
You’re f*cked.
And by the way, nobody really cares about the size of your biceps—except you, haha.
Well, not nobody. I do.
If you join my program, I care about your results. Unlike most people, I actually give a sh*t about helping you achieve what you’re after.
