How to Prepare for the Summer
In other words, a guide to prepare for your summer body.
Most people start their summer body transformation 30 days before summer hits.
Most of those people will end up postponing their summer body goals to next year.
And even then, the real question is: did they start early enough?
Summer is about 90 days away, and let’s be real — most people won’t get to their summer body in time to kill it this summer.
Lucky for you, I’m here not only to give you a heads-up to start now, but I’m also gonna give you the tools you need to make this summer your best one yet.
So, what is a summer body?
A summer body is a lean physique with a decent amount of muscle tone.
Now, “lean” looks different for everyone, but generally speaking, guys need to be around 15% body fat to look lean, and women usually around 20%.
The overarching principle here is that you need to be at a relatively low body fat percentage.
And when I say relatively, I really just mean a healthy body fat percentage — but I know you're here to rock it this summer, so let’s become an anomaly and strive for that ideal range.
How do you get there?
By losing weight.
How do you lose weight?
Now that’s a loaded question — because there are a few components to it.
Here’s a super quick overview:
