Hey Friend, Loc here.
Just swinging by to wish you a great start to your week.
Hey Friend!
Loc here.
Just wanted to stop by and wish you a great start to your week! (Okay, maybe it’s already Tuesday or Wednesday for some of you—but who’s counting?) What matters is that I’m here to send you some positivity and motivation to fuel your week with energy and purpose.
Whether your goals are fitness-related or something else entirely, I want you to crush it.
Now, I often hear people around me say that I’m a disciplined person. Not to toot my own horn here (okay, maybe just a little), but I hear things like, “I wish I had your discipline.” And to be honest, I find that statement a bit strange.
Why? Because I’m no different from you or anyone else.
I’m just an average guy with average height and slightly above-average genetics. That’s it.
But there is one thing that sets me apart. I’ve developed exceptional self-reflection and a relentless urge to go after my dreams. That’s really the key difference. I’ve built a mindset that allows me to push through hard times—and that’s what discipline is all about.
Today, I want to share a simple yet powerful mindset with you. It’s something I’ve talked about before, but it’s worth repeating:
What would you regret not achieving in life if you were to leave this earth tomorrow?
Or put another way: What would you regret not accomplishing if you were 6 feet under?
It’s a little dark, sure. But here’s the thing: Negative emotions can be incredible motivators.
When you reflect on this, you’ll discover what truly matters to you. And once you know that, you can align your actions with those goals.
For example, if achieving a six-pack and a lean body is something you’d regret not accomplishing, then you’ll start framing your daily decisions around that goal.
When you pick up a burger, you’ll ask yourself: Will I regret this choice later?
When you open Netflix, you’ll think: Is this the best use of my time right now?
Don’t underestimate the power of regret. It’s a strong emotion that can guide you toward the life you want.
And remember this:
Your life could change in the blink of an eye.
You could snap your fingers, and 10 years might pass.
When that happens, will you be the person you want to be?
Your actions today, tomorrow, and in the months and years to come will shape the rest of your life. The beautiful thing is, you have the power to choose.
So, what choice will you make?
For me, the choice is obvious.
That’s it for this email. I hope you’re feeling a bit more motivated, and I’ll talk to you soon!
Kind regards,
Coach Loc
