Don’t drink to gain confidence

It’s fake confidence anyway.

We all know that alcohol is a dangerous substance.

In fact, it’s considered the most dangerous substance in the world.

Yet, people still drink it like it’s their last day on earth. Every. Single. Weekend.

And listen—

I used to be one of those people.

I wasn’t just drinking. I was abusing it.

Back in the day, I would drink myself into oblivion.

So yeah, I drank a lot.

But I’m not here to talk about how alcohol is bad for your body.

We all know that—yet most people still don’t care.

So I’ll tackle it from another angle.

The mental side of things.

More specifically—your confidence.

The fake confidence trap.

I honestly believe most men (I can’t speak for women) drink to gain confidence.

And sure, some people just want to loosen up, but let’s be real—they’re in the same boat.

This is especially true today.

People are more isolated than ever. Social skills are non-existent.

So they use alcohol as a crutch—something to give them the balls to be their real selves.

They drink just enough to get a buzz—to feel confident enough to talk to everyone and walk up to that girl at the bar.

But here’s the thing—it’s all fake.

Because the moment you’re sober, that confidence vanishes.

Default mode: Insecure as f***.

As the alcohol wears off, so does the confidence.

So what do people do? They drink more.

Which leads to getting drunker.

Which leads to puking their guts out.

But here’s the truth—you can’t stay drunk forever.

Nor do you want to.

So when you’re sober, you’re back to square oneinsecure as f*.**

Hate to say it, but it’s true.

Alcohol is just a band-aid on a broken leg. The real issue is never treated.

So you stay insecure—until you’re drunk again and borrow some fake confidence for a few hours, in exchange for your health and brain cells.

The real way to gain confidence.

You probably saw this coming a mile away—

Yeah, it’s fitness.

Fitness builds real confidence.

Confidence that comes from within.

Not from downing 12 beers and stumbling up to a girl at the club.

Real confidence comes from trusting yourself to do the things you said you would do.

It comes from facing your fears daily.

It comes from doing the things that actually benefit you.

That’s where real, core confidence is built.

And all of that starts in the gym—by working on your body and improving your diet.

Yes, confidence can be built in other ways, but your body is something you carry with you at all times.

That’s why fitness is my go-to method for developing real confidence.
