A Friendly Warning from a Nerd
Hi there, Loc here—the big nerd with a warning for you.
Hi there! OG Loc here again, just flying by to give you a friendly heads-up.
But before we get into that, happy Friday!
I hope you crushed it this week and that you’ve got something fun planned for the weekend. Rest is important, but if you haven’t hit the gym yet, go to the gym. (Seriously, I’m watching.)
Now, let’s hop into this email.
So, Trump is about to become president again in a few days. No, don’t worry—I’m not here to get into politics. I don’t have an opinion on politics whatsoever.
Honestly? I don’t care, and I don’t have enough knowledge to have an informed opinion anyway.
That’s my mantra.
But this philosophy transitions perfectly into the point of my email.
I do have an opinion on tech and crypto, though, because that’s my area of expertise.
For those who don’t know, soon-to-be-President Trump and First Lady Melania have released a crypto meme coin. Yes, you read that right.
Now, let me be clear: I’m not here to judge their politics. But I do have an opinion about their actions of releasing a coin.
And my opinion is… this is a big scam.
Throughout my coding career, I’ve delved deep into crypto and built a few applications in the space. And here’s what I’ve learned:
99.69% of the stuff you see about crypto is made to scam people.
Just look at Logan Paul’s crypto projects. Look at the infamous case of FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried. And of course, who could forget the disaster that was the Hawk Tua coin?
It breaks my heart to see people lose their life savings to scams like these. And now? It’s honestly shocking to me that Trump is releasing a coin.
Let me make this crystal clear:
You will not make money with this coin.
The only people who will make money here are the ones with insider info or the crypto snipers—the people who study the market every day, all day. Average folks? They’ll only lose money.
The fact that Trump is using his position to move wealth from average people to the already wealthy…
Man, it’s tough to watch.
So here’s my honest warning as a nerd who’s built crypto apps and is deep in the coding world:
Keep your money in your pocket.
DO NOT invest in this.
Of course, there’s a chance I’m completely wrong—do what you want to do. But time and time again, the crypto space proves to be just an easy way to earn money without providing any real value.
And I didn’t mend that you will earn money, the ones that are in charge will earn money.
I don’t want to see you lose your hard-earned cash.
I know how hard it is out there to make bread.
My parents worked their asses off to keep me afloat, and it would break my heart to see people struggling, losing their last penny.
Please, be careful. Quick cash is never worth it.
Kind regards,
Coach Loc
